A review of the evidence for the use of acupuncture for cancer pain has found that it is beneficial. The paper also provides acupuncture protocols generated from RCTs for a range of cancer pain and related conditions including post-operative pain, post-operative nausea and vomiting, post-surgical gastroparesis syndrome, opioid-induced constipation, opioid-induced pruritus, chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, aromatase inhibitor-associated joint pain and neck dissection-related pain and dysfunction.
