Acupuncture therapies improve insomnia

Multiple types of acupuncture therapy show significant ability to improve insomnia, concludes a systematic review by Chinese authors.

Fifty-seven randomised-controlled trials with 4678 patients were included in their meta-analysis. Compared with usual treatment, acupuncture showed a better effect on sleep quality scores.
